Welcome to Cousins Agri-Center
While many may think fall a boring time of year, the cooler months preceding winter actually harbor quite a few lawn and garden activities.
Plant a fall garden this year. Fall is the time for growing green leafy vegetables such as cabbage, collards, and turnips as well as edible flowers such as broccoli and cauliflower.
Even if you choose not to plant a winter garden, you can enrich your garden for next year by planting a cover crop. This will add additional organic matter and nutrients to the soil while preventing erosion.
Another important fall activity that can bear fruit (literally) throughout the following growing season is soil testing. Soil tests let you know what steps you need to take in order to improve your soil to maximize yields during the following growing season.
For hunters and birdwatchers, now is the time to begin planning and planting wildlife food plots.
Soon, the many pecan trees throughout the area will begin dropping their delicious nuts. WE BUY PECANS. If you are looking for extra cash to pay bills, bring your pecans to us, and we will exchange them for a little jingle!
